As our Senior HR Manager, you’ll direct and implement our multi-year and near-term strategies and evaluation methodology to build a high-performance environment. You’ll demonstrate the skills of change management efforts up to Executive Committee Level with clear impact outcomes to behavioural change and data tracking.
We are looking for someone to continuously improve employee engagement and business agility - bringing thought leadership to the behavioural aspect of organisational change and effectiveness driving value back to the business and shaping organisational culture.
You’ll also be responsible for working globally and locally to evolve and embedding our Employee Value Proposition framework (we call it Our People Deal) and activating our Employer Brand to achieve our long-term goal of becoming the most engaged team in our industry, attracting and retaining the best diverse talent. - Being our organisational thought leader and deep SME expert on People Engagement and Experience bringing expert advice/thought leadership, bringing the outside in and best practices to drive a high-performance culture. Co-creating with the business our strategies and frameworks for the future, with an employee centricity mindset.
- Working with our Group Team to take our Employee Value Proposition and Employer Brand framework to the next level by developing a mid/long term roadmap – driving reinforcement that sets ourselves apart in the Financial Services sector and lives through our people managers.
- Enabling greater business agility through the design and deployment of the behavioural change elements alongside an organisational behavioural change management framework for managing the people side of change.
- Assessing our organisational Health and Wellbeing needs, integrating best practices to enhance employee wellbeing, and continuously evaluate the impact of evidence-based initiatives to promote a supportive and psychologically healthy work environment.
- Driving a community of practice being a trainer, coach, and facilitator for the Strategic People Solutions team and our Strategic People Partners sharing technical CoE experiences and skills.
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
- Proven technical expertise and innovation across People Engagement and Experience with a deep commitment to influence structural and systemic change to organisational change and effectiveness
- Skilled at thought leadership and best practice strategies to how an organisation can achieve high-performance through engaging its people, advocating for customer and the delivery of value
- Track record engaging Senior Leaders creating inspiration, challenge and commitment through effective storytelling quantitative and qualitative data with impact to enterprise-wide business agility
- Customer obsessed to provide a super people experience with awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment and how this connects to internal strategic goals
It would also be nice for you to have:
- MSc or Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Occupational Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) or equivalent
- Certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci) or Certified Change Management Professional (ACMP) or equivalent

This role is based in Milton Keynes
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs.
- Starting salary of £75’000 - £95’000
- Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus.
- We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
- 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
- £6,000 car allowance per year
